About the Opportunity

Securecorp is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for casuals to work across our Retail Sectors in the CBD and surrounding suburbs!

Experienced Retail Security Officer with a strong background in protecting retail environments, preventing loss, and maintaining a safe shopping experience for customers and staff. Skilled in handling conflict professionally, remaining calm under pressure, and responding effectively to security incidents. Known for strong observation skills, clear communication, and a proactive approach to safety. Offers flexible availability and a reliable commitment to protecting people, property, and company assets.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will have the chance to:

• Deliver exceptional security and customer service
• Guard, patrol, monitor, and control assigned premises
• Respond to emergencies and alarm events, providing essential support
• Assess and address potential risks
• Manage access control
• Write incident reports and maintain data logs

 

Key Selection Criteria

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Hold a current Security License and valid First Aid & CPR certification
• Control Room License highly regarded
• Have proven experience in the security industry
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Can work collaboratively in a team or independently

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.

 

Rostered Hours

• Flexible shifts across 24 hours, 7 days a week!
