This is a PRN / Part‑Time / per-diem Supervising RN role for hands-off clinical administrative tasks (oversight, assessments, care plans) </div><div> <br><strong>Duties/ Responsibilities:</strong> </div><ul> <li>Conducts the admission process for new clients.</li> <li>Conducts initial assessments for new clients.</li> <li>Develops plan of care</li> <li>Conducts 90-day supervisory visits</li> <li>Verify competency of in-home caregivers.</li> <li>Assign appropriate staff to assist in-home services based on client need, staff qualification, and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Understanding and ensuring adherence to the agreed plan of care for each client in your caseload.</li> <li>Partnering and communicating with all members of the client’s circle of care which may include family members, assigned Power of Attorney/spokesperson, community partners and related agencies.</li> <li>Monitoring and escalating changes in your clients plan of care, services, or condition.</li> <li>Conducting home visits and safety checks.</li> <li>Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping for agency payers.</li> <li>Recruitment, screening, and selection of direct care staff based on Agency and external referrals.</li> <li>Determining schedules and adequate staffing and processing completed visits for payment.</li> <li>Provides initial and annual training and competency assessments for in-home care staff.</li> <li>Providing consultation to Direct Care Staff to ensure quality care and service Monitoring staff, identifying problem situations, and assisting in problem solving for optimum outcomes.</li> <li>Evaluating job performance of staff and providing performance reviews, corrective action, or other disciplinary/performance appraisals and counseling.</li> </ul><div><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></div><ul> <li>Must be a registered nurse</li> <li>An individual who has at least two years of supervisory or management experience in home care or any other provider licensed pursuant to G.S. 131E or G.S. 122C; or</li> <li>An individual who holds a bachelor's degree in health, business or public administration science and has at least one year of supervisory or management experience in home care or other licensed health care program.</li> <li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li> <li>Solid experience working with the public, presenting a friendly, professional appearance while interacting with people.</li> <li>Ability to travel frequently within designated region or other locations as required.</li> </ul><div><strong>Salary Range / Salary Structure:</strong></div><ul> <li>The major clinical responsibilities (initial intake and assessments, ongoing assessments) of the Supervising RN are compensated on a per‑diem basis.<ul> <li> <strong>Client Intake & Service Setup</strong> | Performs initial intake and assessments and creates care plans ($160 per diem)</li> <li> <strong>Supervisory Visits</strong> | Re-assessments - Performs all required supervisory visits (every 90 days or more often) ($80 per diem)</li> <li> <strong>Care Plan Oversight</strong> | Writes, updates, and signs all care plans ($65 per diem)</li> </ul> </li> <li>Other administration work on per hour basis. (Range $40 - $50 per hour based on work allotted - trainings, competency testing, policy reviews, etc)</li> </ul> </div> <p>Flexible work from home options available.</p>
