Job Summary

The Senior Epic Application Analyst is responsible for advancing the functionality and operational efficiency of Information Systems utilizing their expertise in Epic Applications. This entails intermediate to advanced analysis, design, configuration and implementation. This position is responsible for ensuring integration of technology into effective workflow and process design as well as ensuring operational efficiency of assigned Epic applications and integrated technology. Provides advanced ongoing analysis, consultation, complex problem-solving, collaboration and application support to users. Also responsible for contributing to system training. The Senior Epic Application Analyst utilizes their knowledge and skills to function as a technical resource on Epic and assume higher level project responsibilities. This position typically reports to an ISD manager or above.

The Senior Epic Applications Analyst – Deficiency Tracking is responsible for supporting and optimizing Epic Deficiency Tracking and Epic Identity applications with a strong focus on data integrity, workflow support, and system functionality within a complex healthcare environment. This role partners closely with HIM and operational teams to support physician documentation compliance, record integrity, and Epic build enhancements while troubleshooting complex issues, identifying workflow gaps, and ensuring accurate system performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on Epic application support experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and operational teams.
