Hiring Manager : Full Name: First Last Zachary Luick Overview Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Patient Programs to join our team!   Under general direction of the Manager, Patient Programs, the Sr. Specialist, Patient Programs manages, coordinates, and optimizes manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs and internal patient management workflows. This role serves as a key operational liaison between Lumicera, manufacturer partners, and internal pharmacy teams to ensure accurate program execution, regulatory compliance, and a consistent, high-quality patient experience.   Is this you? Find out more below!   Responsibilities How do I make an impact on my team?    Leads operational execution of manufacturer patient support programs, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, program design, and patient care standards. Serves as a primary point of contact for external manufacturer partners for assigned programs, supporting ongoing communication, issue resolution, and operational alignment. Coordinates program implementation activities, including workflow design, system configuration inputs, and cross-functional readiness across clinical, operations, and IT teams. Monitors and evaluates program performance using internal reporting tools (e.g., Qlik, reporting dashboards), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Develops and delivers recurring and ad hoc program performance reporting for internal stakeholders and external manufacturer partners. Performs and oversees audits of patient profiles and program activities to ensure compliance with manufacturer agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. Escalates and resolves program-related issues, including gaps in documentation, billing discrepancies, and workflow inefficiencies. Supports patient access and continuation of therapy by coordinating outreach, facilitating third-party claim resolution, and managing transitions (e.g., formulary changes, product launches). Maintains accurate and complete documentation across pharmacy systems and manufacturer portals. Develops standardized communication materials (e.g., patient and provider letters, templates) to support program workflows and improve consistency. Supports onboarding and training of new team members and provides ongoing education related to patient programs and system workflows. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications What our team expects from you?   High school diploma or GED required. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date. 3+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, healthcare operations, or related environment required. Demonstrated experience managing or supporting manufacturer-sponsored programs or complex workflows. Experience interacting with external stakeholders (e.g., manufacturers, providers, vendors) preferred. Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives. The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
