Position Overview
We're seeking a strategic and results-driven professional to serve as our Employer Branding & Technology Experience Lead. This role is designed for someone who understands the intersection of employer branding, employee experience, and technology culture. You'll be responsible for defining and deploying our technology employer brand, creating initiatives that foster community and engagement, and ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications.
As a key contributor to our HR and Communications teams, you'll work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to build a technology culture that reflects our values and supports our business objectives. You'll have the opportunity to leverage data and analytics to measure effectiveness and continuously evolve our strategies.
Key Responsibilities
As the Employer Branding & Technology Experience Lead at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and Execute Technology Brand Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive employer branding strategy using powerful channels and content specifically tailored to technology talent. Your initiatives will contribute to team engagement and a positive culture across all pillars of the technology organization.
- Collaborate with Communications Teams: Work closely with internal and external communications partners to ensure connectivity and consistency within the technology communications plan. Partner to activate brand initiatives that resonate with our technology workforce.
- Drive Technology Culture Transformation: Partner with leadership to steer our technology culture through data-driven human applications and strategies. Enable an exceptional employee experience built upon inclusion, recognition, and empowerment.
- Ensure Brand Consistency: Maintain consistency of technology brand implementation for events throughout the organization, including hackathons, brown bag sessions, lunch-and-learn boards, tech conferences, and other engagement activities.
- Build and Lead Engagement Teams: Establish and manage an engagement committee composed of voluntary team members within the organization. Oversee the development and activities designed to uniquely engage technology personnel at all levels and build community across teams and functions.
- Conduct Research and Analysis: Utilize people-centric data from the organization to inform engagement strategy and projects. Foster a culture of empowerment, innovation, belonging, and pride through data-informed decision-making.
- Partner with HR on Initiatives: Collaborate with Human Resources on employee surveys, movement planning, and approach implementation. Produce activities and tasks aligned with technology team values and business goals.
- Measure and Optimize: Access and utilize employee survey data and feedback analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of brand strategies. Continuously evolve the employer branding approach based on insights and outcomes.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience in progressive communications, brand and/or lifestyle and engagement, OR a High School diploma/GED with at least 3 years of experience in these areas.
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing progressive communications, brand, or lifestyle and engagement initiatives.
- At least 4 years of experience leading and managing the work of a team, including leading through influence or Center of Excellence (COE) models.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of strategic projects and programs aligned to business needs.
- Proven ability to provide shape and steering to inspire groups toward engaging in goals.
- Strong program management experience with the ability to plan and schedule large-scale programs, activities, and initiatives at the organizational level.
- Excellent track record of building effective work relationships, establishing credibility, and building trust to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with change management and the ability to guide behavior through times of transition and change.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey business requirements and technical needs clearly and effectively.
- Experience exercising expert judgment and taking responsibility for decisions that affect people, quality of service, and expenses.
- Minimum 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- At least 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business functions, both domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of additional progressive communications, brand, or lifestyle and engagement experience beyond the minimum requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years leading and managing the work of a team, including demonstrated success in leading through influence or COE models.
- Experience in the healthcare, retail, or technology industries.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in workforce analytics and employee engagement metrics.
