We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
• Assist with procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to secure optimal pricing and terms.
• Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating shipping & receiving, inventory control, and materials handling processes.
• Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 and warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, process orders, and analyze supply chain data.
• Conduct data mining and analysis using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Perform demand planning and forecasting by analyzing sales data from Nielsen, retail management systems, and e-commerce platforms to ensure stock availability.
• Collaborate with logistics providers including 3PL partners to streamline shipping & delivery schedules while managing freight costs effectively.
• Support category management initiatives by analyzing pricing strategies, conducting financial modeling, and optimizing inventory turnover.
Requirements
• Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution, procurement, and inventory control.
• Technical proficiency with ERP systems (such as AS400 or SAP), data analysis tools (Excel data analysis, Power BI, Tableau), and SQL for data collection and visualization.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), materials handling equipment (including forklift certification), and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Demonstrated ability in negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration within a retail or e-commerce environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis, demand planning, and process improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of logistics inventory management practices including 3PL coordination, stock replenishment strategies, and production planning.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced settings.

Pay: $26.88 - $33.76 per hour
