Technology Project Manager – New Product Launch (Insurance)

Our client, a well-established long-term care insurance product company, is bringing a new LTC product to market on an accelerated timeline, with more products in the pipeline. This is a backfill role needing an execution-focused PM to pick up a well-built plan and drive it to launch. Key Responsibilities • Own end-to-end delivery - requirements through development, QA, production rollout, and go-to-market communications • Execute an existing, well-defined project plan and timeline • Align stakeholders across IT, Compliance, Actuarial, and business leadership • Coordinate with an external carrier partner finalizing product design and rates • Report status and risks to PMO leadership and executive sponsors • Anticipate and resolve stakeholder friction before it escalates • Partner with SDLC teams (developers, QA, content authoring) on execution Required Qualifications • 5–7+ years hands-on PM experience on complex, cross-functional initiatives • Full project-lifecycle experience: requirements through rollout • Track record managing stakeholders across IT, business, compliance, and actuarial • Strong relationship-builder - earns trust quickly without disrupting team dynamics • Authorized to work in the United States • Comfortable in a traditional Waterfall/PMLC delivery model Nice-to-Have Qualifications • Insurance industry experience, particularly long-term care products • Comfort working alongside SDLC/technical teams (Java dev, QA, content authoring) • PMP or similar certification • Pacific time zone / West Coast core hours availability Tools & Environment Internal proprietary admin system; web/media authoring tools; traditional Waterfall/PMLC (not Agile) Ideal Candidate An execution-focused PM who thrives picking up a well-defined plan and running with it - comfortable in a regulated, multi-stakeholder environment, builds trust fast, and keeps a revenue-critical launch on track.
