UI/UX Designer – Institutional Website Refinement (Capital Markets & Mining)
We are looking for a senior UI/UX designer with proven experience in institutional financial environments (investment firms, private equity, capital advisory, private banking).
Project Context
The website represents an investment firm operating in the mining capital space:
This is not a commercial or lead-generation website. Its sole role is to function as an institutional credibility asset. Our audience consists of highly qualified mining companies operating under NI 43-101 / JORC standards.
The current website has defined content (Home, About Us, Capitalization, Contact). The objective is to elevate perception and structural rigor, not to rebuild from scratch.
Objective
Bring the website to a high institutional standard, aligned with firms such as Blackstone (rigor, structure, control) or Hottinger Group (tone, balance). This implies:
- Typographic Rigor: Definition of a complete, structured system (Serif/Sans-Serif balance).
- Information Architecture: Real restructuring of the Home page hierarchy and reading flow.
- Visual Restraint: Removal of all decorative or template-like elements to achieve a "Quiet Luxury" aesthetic.
Scope of Work (Refinement, not Redesign)
- Institutional Hero Statement: Reworking the hero section to project authority and contrast.
- Vertical Rhythm: Establishing a consistent spacing system across the entire site.
- Copy Sensitivity: Refinement of images and key headlines (this is highly valued).
- Implementation: Direct refinement within WordPress (Child-Theme / CSS).
Requirements (Important)
- Proven experience in: Investment firms, private equity, capital markets, or high-level corporate environments.
- Expertise in: Typographic hierarchy and structured, grid-based layouts.
- Language: Fluent Spanish required (spoken). Internal communication will be in Spanish.
Budget
Target range: €800 – €1,200 for this initial refinement phase.
This is a focused first stage. If the collaboration is successful, we expect to move into a more ambitious second phase.
How to apply
Please include:
- Relevant portfolio examples (showing an institutional/financial tone).
- A brief technical explanation of how you would approach this structural refinement on the current site.
- Confirmation of Spanish fluency.
Final note
This project requires precision, restraint, and institutional thinking. If your work is primarily creative, expressive, or marketing-oriented, it is likely not the right fit.
