Tasks
As an event volunteer, your main focus will be on promoting our events online and assisting with event organisation. Responsibilities include:
- Event Promotion: Support our communications team by creating and sharing content on social media, engaging with the community, and helping boost event visibility.
- Event Organisation: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing both virtual and in-person events.
- Community Engagement: Interact with attendees online, help answer questions, and keep the energy high before and during events.
- Speaker & Session Support: Coordinate with speakers, support logistics, and help sessions run smoothly.
- Digital Resource Management: Help organise and share materials like event schedules, speaker bios and more
- Organise Events on site - booking the hotel for our speakers, venues
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Motivated, reliable individuals who are passionate about women’s empowerment and business
- Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
- Interest or experience in social media and digital communication
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Fluent or proficient in written and spoken English (our working language)
- Familiarity with tools like Zoom, Canva, or Instagram is a plus, but not required
