A Brief Overview

In the role of VP, Business Development for Germany you will Gather market intelligence via network of contacts, communicate opportunities and evaluation to the business.

Position RGA as the partner of choice for German life insurance transactions

Drive strategic direction of the business unit, including sourcing and qualifying new opportunities, client engagement and negotiations throughout a transaction, transaction structuring, due diligence and project management throughout the life of a transaction.

Lead communication with Senior Executives of both RGA and client companies.

Responsibilities

Ensure RGA meets its new business targets for Germany.

Lead and direct internal and external networking:

Oversee project management of transaction activities, from setting up deal teams to assuring successful integration of won transactions

Present opportunities to Executive management and/or RGA Boards as needed

Lead opportunities in close collaboration with Corporate and other business units:

Work with the internal staff in promoting RGA in Europe.
