Position Overview
Are you a passionate healthcare leader ready to make a significant impact in clinical health services? arenaflex is currently seeking an experienced Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services to join our dynamic remote team. This is a full-time telecommuting position that offers the flexibility of working from home while leading critical healthcare management initiatives.
As the Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services, you will be responsible for directing the execution of healthcare management services for assigned functional areas. You will serve as a subject matter expert and coach to your team, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice, quality interventions, and problem resolution. Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the arenaflex clinical team, you will:
- Implement Clinical Excellence: Execute clinical policies and procedures in full compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards, including NCQA, URAC, state and federal regulations as applicable.
- Lead and Mentor: Act as a subject matter expert and coach to your team regarding practice standards, quality of interventions, issue resolution, and critical thinking skills.
- Drive Best Practices: Ensure implementation and monitoring of best practice approaches and innovations to better address population needs across the continuum of care.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Serve as a contact with other key business areas and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.
- Develop Training Content: May develop/aid in the development and review of new training content and collaborate on inter and intra-departmental training sessions.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Safeguard the confidentiality of population information and adhere to company policies regarding privacy and data protection.
- Manage Care Programs: Oversee resources responsible for identification of members, development and execution of care plans, enhancement of clinical appropriateness and quality of care, and monitoring, evaluating, and documenting care outcomes.
- Analyze Data and Improve Outcomes: Evaluate and interpret data, identify areas of improvement, and focus on interventions to improve clinical outcomes.
- Set Performance Expectations: Develop, initiate, evaluate, monitor, and communicate performance expectations for your team.
- Optimize Technology Usage: Ensure the team's understanding and utilization of information system capabilities and functionality.
- Recruit and Develop Talent: Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for staff, defining clear requirements for education, experience, technical, and performance skills.
- Build High-Performing Teams: Assess developmental needs and collaborate with others to identify and implement action plans that support the development of high-performing teams.
- Foster Collaboration: Establish an environment and work style that promotes teamwork, cross-product integration, and continuum of care thinking that results in strong performance.
- Lead Change Initiatives: Consistently demonstrate the ability to act as a model change agent and lead change efforts within the organization.

- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with Providers, Members, Staff, and other Leaders, including providing support to sales and account management teams through on-site client visits and presentations.
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Clinical Expertise: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in clinical subject matter, demonstrating a strong foundation in healthcare management and patient care.
- Active Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted RN (Registered Nurse) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) licensure in your state of residence. This is essential for providing clinical oversight and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A Master's degree in a social health field or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.
