Position Overview MMC Government Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support an Information Technology office by providing technical and analytical support to include SharePoint administration, Smartsheet management, and financial/portfolio data analysis. This role supports effective program operations by ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and actionable reporting for stakeholders and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain SharePoint environments, including user permissions, document libraries, metadata, and workflow automation to ensure secure, organized content management.
Manage and enhance Smartsheet solutions, including maintaining sheets, dashboards, and automated workflows to support real-time portfolio tracking and reporting.
Perform financial and portfolio data analysis, including tracking contract funding, reconciling spend plans, and identifying discrepancies or risks.
Develop, maintain, and validate reports and dashboards; support recurring and ad hoc data calls with accurate, timely information.
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve tools and processes, streamline workflows, and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
Required Skills/Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, program support, or related field
Experience with SharePoint administration (permissions, libraries, workflows)
Proficiency in Smartsheet (dashboards, automation, reporting)
Strong analytical skills with experience in financial or portfolio data analysis
Experience developing reports and dashboards (Excel or similar tools)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills/Experience Experience with government operations and/or federal contracting
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
Hours of Operation and Work Site Contractor staff will perform work during hours agreed upon with the client. This is a full time, 40 hours per week position.
