**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative – Telemed Interviewer, you'll be responsible for supporting the Telemed team by:
* Answering incoming telephones for Telemed Interviews, field offices, agents, brokers, applicants, and clients
* Handling complaints and providing exceptional customer service
* Obtaining health history and personal information from clients applying for insurance
* Promoting professionalism and adhering to confidentiality agreements
* Acting as a mentor for teammates, providing training and assisting with special projects
* Participating in development programs and maintaining certification where applicable
* Cross-training to other positions as directed
* Training teammates on new tasks and mentoring new employees
* Answering questions on process and system functionality
**Key Responsibilities**
* Interviews:
+ Conduct Telemed Interviews with clients applying for insurance
+ Obtain health history and personal information from clients
+ Promote professionalism and adhere to confidentiality agreements
* Customer Service:
+ Support the mission statement to develop, enhance, and promote quality customer service through team efforts
+ Exhibit flexibility, sensitivity, and respect, maintaining a working relationship with all team members
* Training & Development:
+ Attend and participate in development programs
+ Maintain certification where applicable, and continue to improve skills
+ Cross-train to other positions as directed
+ Train teammates on new tasks, mentor new employees
+ Answer questions on process and system functionality
* Professional Image:
+ Exhibit professional demeanor at all times while representing arenaflex
* Goals & Objectives:
+ Set goals and objectives for professional growth
+ Reviews and revises these on an ongoing basis
+ Gives input and supports management/practice decisions
**Qualifications**
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Good organizational skills
* Effective communication skills and critical thinking
* Ability to work compatibly as a team member with co-workers
* Ability to logically think and determine the next step to pursue
* Prefer 6 months of customer service experience and knowledge of medical terminology
**Working Conditions**
* Part-Time: 25-29 hours per week
* Physical requirements:
+ Ability to sit for extended periods
+ Lift up to 10 lbs
+ Utilize computer, monitor, and keyboard for assigned shift
**Remote Requirements**
* Desktop or laptop computer with Windows 10 or newer (no Chromebooks, iPads, or tablets)
* A second monitor will be needed prior to starting this position, if hired
* High-speed internet capable of being wired (cannot use Wi-Fi for this position)
* Headset
* Office or quiet place in home to work
