Together, let's embrace possibilities and change lives! **About arenaflex's Women's Health - Every Mom Pledge Team** arenaflex's Women's Health - Every Mom Pledge team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients. As a Customer Service Support Representative, you will be part of a fast-paced, remote work-from-home team responsible for assisting patients and clients with understanding health insurance coverage, cost, and payment options, as well as answering billing questions over the phone. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide assistance to prospective clients and patients regarding any questions or inquiries related to insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and/or billing (telephone interactions) * Receive and process credit card payments over the phone, adhering to PCI compliance protocols * Document telephone conversations clearly and accurately in the respective systems * Update and maintain records in the billing system, including the review of accounts, payment collections, and case notes * Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations * Assist with other duties as assigned **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Ability to work in a high call volume environment (averaging 75 calls per day) * Ability to research and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Ability to navigate and work in multiple systems/websites simultaneously * Provide assistance to prospective clients and patients regarding any questions or inquiries related to insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and/or billing (telephone interactions) * Receive and process credit card payments over the phone, adhering to PCI compliance protocols * Document telephone conversations clearly and accurately in the respective systems * Update and maintain records in the billing system, including the review of accounts, payment collections, and case notes * Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations * Assist with other duties as assigned **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma required * Associates or bachelor's degree preferred * 1-3 years of applicable experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to follow established program protocols and procedures * Knowledge of professional medical billing and collection practices preferred * Previous customer service experience handling high call volume preferred * Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes highly preferred * Computer proficiency - MS Windows, MS Office, and database experience * Experience with Laboratory Billing and Laboratory Information System (LIS) desired * Medicare/Medicaid billing experience preferred * Must be organized and detail-oriented * Ability to review large amounts of data for accuracy **Preferred Qualifications:** * Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desirable * XIFIN experience preferred * Experience with Laboratory Billing and Laboratory Information System (LIS) desired **Physical Requirements:** * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer **Remote Technical Requirements:** * Internet speed of at least 50 megabytes per second * Ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cord * Equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi **Schedule:** * Ability to work the following schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm PST / 10:30am - 7:00pm EST **Compensation and Benefits:** * Pay Rate: $17-21/hr * Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
