**Key Responsibilities**
As an External Support Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing technical support to content/external teams in regard to use of content tools, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization of our toolset
* Creating reference materials and providing training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset, empowering them to maximize their productivity and efficiency
* Solving and debugging possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users, minimizing downtime and ensuring a smooth user experience
* Escalating more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team, and working with production to track these issues in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement
* Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
* Partnering with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality, driving business outcomes and customer satisfaction
* Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, ensuring that our tools and processes meet the evolving needs of our content teams

**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A strong understanding of C# code and ability to read and comprehend it
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with external partners and stakeholders
* A positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback, fostering a culture of growth and improvement
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously

**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be a significant advantage:
* Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with it
* Unity 3D game and tool development experience, with a deep understanding of the Unity ecosystem and its applications
* Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect-tracking software, with a strong understanding of agile development methodologies and project management principles
* iOS and Android mobile development experience, with a strong understanding of mobile app development and deployment
* 5 years of experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure
