We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical professional to join our Transportation team as a Transportation Analyst – Data Management & Logistics Support Specialist.

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Transportation Analyst to support our fleet operations and contribute to the efficiency of our logistics network. This role is ideal for someone with a background in transportation logistics, data analysis, or industrial engineering who is looking to advance their career with a respected industry leader.
As a Transportation Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for analyzing transportation data, supporting fleet operations, and working closely with managers to identify and address operational needs. You will leverage your expertise in data management, Excel, and database platforms to create meaningful insights that drive decision-making and improve our transportation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support arenaflex Transportation Fleet Operations: Provide comprehensive support to our transportation fleet operations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily activities. Monitor fleet performance, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with team members to implement solutions that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Business Needs Assessment: Consult and communicate with managers across various departments to define, prioritize, and address business needs. Act as a liaison between transportation operations and corporate leadership to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
- Data Integration and Management: Integrate multiple data sources across various database platforms to create unified, accurate, and actionable information. Ensure data integrity and consistency while developing streamlined processes for data collection, storage, and retrieval.
- Spreadsheet Development and Maintenance: Build, create, and maintain multiple Excel spreadsheets to support ongoing transportation operations and special projects. Develop complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, and dashboards to present data in a clear and meaningful way.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze transportation data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for leadership review, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Process Improvement Initiatives: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and solutions to enhance transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration and Team Support: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, manufacturing, e-commerce, and corporate departments, to support overall business objectives.
Essential Qualifications
- Previous Experience: Prior job experience as a Data Analyst, Transportation Analyst, or in a similar analytical role is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in transportation logistics, supply chain management, or industrial engineering will be given priority consideration.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required. You must be comfortable creating complex spreadsheets, using advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
- Database Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Access or other database platforms is preferred. Experience with data integration across multiple platforms is a significant plus.
- Data Entry Skills: Strong typing skills and 10-key proficiency are preferred. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check as a condition of employment.
- Drug Screening: Must be able to pass a drug test as required by company policy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) or fleet management software.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, DOT requirements, and industry best practices.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
