Berlitz offers training in all living languages, intercultural and management skills. Instruction is available through various delivery platforms (face-to-face, virtual, online, mobile, study abroad) designed to teach the skills, build self-confidence and empower people to succeed on a global stage. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager and Academic Specialist, the French Instructor demonstrates commitment and passion to quality language instruction and education, representing as an expert in teaching and ambassador for Berlitz. The instructor teaches the required languages to assigned classes of students and provides student support in accordance with Berlitz teaching and customer service principles. The instructor also participates in professional development courses and activities, ensuring familiarity with goal-oriented, student-centered instruction.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Start Date:anguage: French / Instructor needs to be in the Pacific Time Zone but NOT IN CALIFORNIA
Current Level: 3/3/2+
Goal: Refresh skills and prep for DLPT to maintain 3/3/2+ or improve to higher scores
Dates requested: 12 May – 12 June 2026
Times requested: Mon - Friday from 3pm-6pm and 7pm-11pm Pacific Time
Total Hours: 160 hours
Location: Virtual
SALARY: $22.00per hour
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
