The Opportunity We are seeking a high-caliber Geopolitical Advisor with an exceptional government network and a proven track record of delivering timely, high-impact insights on Hungary and U.S. foreign policy. What You Bring - 5+ years of relevant experience in geopolitical risk analysis, political risk consulting, government affairs, intelligence, or strategic advisory at a major global consultancy, think tank, or government/diplomatic service. - Extensive personal network in Hungarian and/or U.S. government circles—demonstrated ability to engage directly with senior officials, diplomats, and policymakers to source unique insights. - Deep, substantive expertise in Hungary’s political economy, foreign policy, and its relationship with U.S. foreign policy objectives; strong understanding of transatlantic security, EU–U.S. relations, and regional dynamics is essential. - Proven ability to deliver timely, high-impact reports and insights under tight deadlines that have demonstrably strengthened organizational or team decision-making. - Outstanding analytical, writing, and communication skills—able to synthesize ambiguous or fast-moving information into clear, forward-looking, team-ready narratives and reports. - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field. - Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Hungarian is a significant advantage. - Entrepreneurial mindset, team-oriented approach, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. What We Offer - The chance to work at the forefront of geopolitical analysis on one of the most dynamic U.S.–European relationships. - Direct impact on the firm’s research quality and client outcomes through your internal insights and reports. - Competitive compensation, performance-based bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and professional development opportunities. - A collaborative, intellectually rigorous culture that values insight, integrity, and impact.
