Life Legal Services is a modern, woman-owned law firm focused on helping families recover life insurance benefits after claims are denied.
We are seeking a part-time Paralegal / Intake Specialist to support client communication, case intake, and ongoing case management.
Responsibilities
• Answer incoming calls and speak with potential clients
• Screen cases and complete client intake
• Draft basic legal documents (training provided)
• Follow up with clients regarding case status and missing information
• Communicate with insurance companies and attorneys’ offices
• Maintain and update CRM/case management system
• Keep cases organized and moving forward
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in legal, intake, administrative, or client-facing roles
• Familiarity with CRM or case management systems
• Interest in law or pursuing a legal career
Work Schedule
• Part-time (20–24 hours per week)
• Preferred schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (flexible)
• Fully remote
