The Administrative Legal Assistant will support attorneys with administrative tasks, manage documents, and work on special projects to ensure a smooth workflow for the legal team.
Responsibilities
- Supporting assigned Attorneys and Partners with administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
- Scheduling appointments with colleagues and clients
- Drafting and sending documents, including service contracts
- Updating the firm's CRM platform consistently when taking any action related to a case
- Organizing and distributing Attorneys' mail to the appropriate Legal team members
- Working on special administrative projects, including presentations, as directed by the Attorneys
- Performing thorough and accurate document management and data entry
- Tending to other projects, including possible casework, as directed by a Partner and based on the needs of the firm
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with good academic record
- At least 2 years of administrative experience required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially relating to email communication in a professional work environment
- Ability to implement and maintain organizational systems consistently
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Fast learner
