Our client, a pioneering AI research lab at the forefront of innovation, is seeking exceptional Remote AI Research Scientists with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP). This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research and development in areas such as large language models, machine translation, text generation, and sentiment analysis. You will work alongside a world-class team of researchers and engineers, pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and developing state-of-the-art NLP solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong theoretical background, extensive experience with deep learning frameworks, and a proven publication record in top-tier AI conferences and journals. Key Responsibilities: Conduct cutting-edge research in Natural Language Processing and related areas of Artificial Intelligence. Develop and implement novel algorithms and models for tasks such as text classification, named entity recognition, question answering, and summarization. Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance of new models and techniques. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP, machine learning, and deep learning research. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into practical applications and product features. Publish research results in leading AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, EMNLP) and journals. Mentor junior researchers and interns. Contribute to the development of internal AI tools and infrastructure. Explore and implement new deep learning architectures and training methodologies. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and insights relevant to NLP tasks. Effectively communicate research ideas and results to both technical and non-technical audiences. Contribute to grant proposals and research proposals as needed. Ensure ethical considerations and responsible AI practices are integrated into research. Qualifications: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field with a strong focus on NLP. 3+ years of relevant research experience, demonstrated through publications in top-tier AI conferences and journals. Deep understanding of machine learning theory and deep learning architectures (e.g., Transformers, LSTMs, CNNs). Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX. Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed training. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote research environment. Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus. Familiarity with MLOps principles and practices is advantageous.
