Responsibilities
- Perform statistical analysis and data exploration to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets
- Support the development and validation of predictive models to identify trends and patterns
- Contribute to the development of AI/ML models and data-driven solutions
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to support decision-making and operational planning
- Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines for data collection, processing, and integration
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to improve data workflows
- Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
- Support initiatives to enhance data quality, structure, and accessibility
- Apply basic experimental and analytical approaches to test ideas and evaluate outcomes
- Contribute to improving data systems, workflows, and analytical capabilities
- Assist in identifying data gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for optimization
- Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques and modeling approaches
- Foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts and applications
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with cloud-based big data technologies
- Ability to explain complex technical findings to non-technical audiences
- Understanding of intelligence analysis processes and mission requirements
- Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets in complex environments
- Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience in data science, analytics, machine learning, or related technical fields
