[Remote] Radiology PACS Administrator

Orion Groups is a professional services firm based in McKinney, Texas, providing experienced consultants to key organizations across the United States, focusing on the financial and healthcare industries. They are seeking a Radiology PACS Administrator to provide technical expertise and solutions related to Radiology applications and support the healthcare enterprise’s infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develops and presents internal documentation to be utilized by the team
• Develops and presents external documentation to be utilized by clinical associates
• Collaborate with both internal and external resource partners
• Works to mentor other associates on the team
• Generate any ad-hoc reporting as necessary
• Troubleshoot support issues, Radiology applications and assists with analyst level escalations
• Respond to internal customers/user problems, analyze a chain of events and apply technical knowledge following established procedures and detailed specifications

Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of the following application: Change Healthcare Radiology PACS, GE Centricity PACS, Fuji Synapse PACS, GE Viewpoint, TeraRecon, Rapid, DynaCAD, and other ancillary Radiology applications
• Solid foundation of imaging knowledge and skill sets for supported platforms/products and environments that support the Clinical Imaging Space
• Experience building and maintaining test and production environments for PACS imaging systems, including periodic application upgrades
• Familiar with ServiceNow incident and task management
• Experience with contribution to the development of project plans, identifies key milestones, and raises critical project issues such as resource needs and contingencies
• Proven ability to understand customer requirements and the impact on the technical direction of a solution
• Experience on a large agile team while managing own work, with tasks of greater duration and complexity
• Proven leadership experience in the clinical imaging space
