They are seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to define strategy and execution plans across a team of Product Managers, focusing on market execution in high growth areas like AMI Cloud, Storage, and Security. Responsibilities
- Define the strategy and execution plan across a team of Product Managers
- Understand and communicate business strategy and work with the product managers to create compelling, high value product roadmaps
- Drive the market execution across AMI Cloud, Storage and Security businesses
- Lead significant organization to achieve revenue attainment within the IZOT portfolio
- Align with strategic initiatives within the BMC business
- Work with solutions marketing, development and QA, sales and pre-sales, and support teams to ensure that solutions are delivered to plan, the sales teams are enabled, and customers are satisfied
Skills
- At least 7 years software product management leadership experience in enterprise/B2B software
- Demonstrable experience in a mainframe business environment
- Knowledge and understanding in one or more areas of Hybrid Storage Management, Virtual Tape & Cloud Object Storage, Security and Compliance
- Passion for engaging with customers and understanding their problems
- Demonstrated experience of client co-creation / Design Thinking methodologies and outcome centric product planning and execution
- Experience with complex sales processes, working with sales and presales staff
- Experience collaborating with marketing staff to ensure clear internal & external messaging
- The perseverance, energy, and understanding required to effect change in multiple areas

- The ability to move seamlessly between the 'big picture' and very low levels of technical and business detail
