The Compliance Senior Health Data Analyst is responsible for providing advanced analytics and data-driven insights to support regulatory compliance and privacy protection, while developing reporting and monitoring tools to assess organizational performance and identify risks.
Responsibilities
- Providing advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights that support regulatory compliance, privacy protection, data governance, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making across the Compliance and Privacy department
- Developing and maintaining reporting, compliance monitoring dashboards, provider performance analytics, data loss prevention (DLP) monitoring, and Power BI visualizations
- Serving as a key resource in responding to regulatory requests, audits, investigations, privacy incidents, and member requests for claims and healthcare information
- Ensuring the accurate extraction, validation, analysis, and presentation of complex healthcare data in accordance with applicable privacy, security, and regulatory requirements
- Working collaboratively with Compliance, Privacy, and Regulatory Affairs staff to deliver actionable information that supports compliance oversight, regulatory readiness, provider accountability, and data loss prevention initiatives
Skills
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Economics, Health Economics, Epidemiology or closely related analytic field is required
- Bachelor's degree and equivalent work experience may be substituted
- Requires 7 years of experience with proven skills in analyzing and interpreting data
- Demonstrated experience with executing data-based projects from initiation to completion
- 2 years of experience with Medicare/Medicaid or similar healthcare clinical/claims data including working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and their applicability to data protection
- Prior project management experience preferred
