Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Management

Baker Botts, a leading international law firm recognized for our understanding of the industries we serve, is seeking to fill the Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Management position within the Information Technology Department.

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Management will lead and oversee the Firm’s data management capabilities across key platforms and business systems. This role is responsible for establishing data governance practices, improving data quality, enabling secure and compliant data access, and partnering with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable data products (e.g., reporting, analytics, integrations, and master/reference data). The Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Management manages priorities and budgets for data initiatives, coordinates vendors and internal teams, and ensures that data services align with Firm objectives and risk requirements. Substantial interaction and proficiency with the Firm’s AI systems, such as Harvey and Copilot is a requirement. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer and collaborates with Finance, HR, Client Development, Risk and Information Governance, legal practices and other teams across the organization. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused professional with strong data and systems expertise who can deliver trusted outcomes to the Firm.

This is a full-time, remote, exempt position, that can be based out of one of the Firm’s Texas locations: Houston, Dallas, or Austin.
