Position Overview
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our enterprise-grade cloud applications and services. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including cloud platforms, containerization systems, and modern web frameworks to build scalable, high-performance solutions that power our global operations.
This position offers the unique opportunity to work on complex technical challenges that have real-world impact. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features that enhance our services and improve customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Platform Development: Build and maintain end-to-end solutions on cloud infrastructure using Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Design scalable architectures that can handle high-volume, real-time data processing.
- Backend Development: Develop robust backend services and APIs using Java or Spring Boot frameworks. Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices in software engineering.
- Frontend Development: Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React or Angular frameworks. Work closely with design teams to implement creative layout specifications while maintaining code quality and performance.
- Containerization & Deployment: Design and manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment workflows.
- Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Write complex SQL queries and ensure data integrity and performance.
- Agile Collaboration: Work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Translate user stories into technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and lead by example. Drive architectural decisions and establish coding standards for the team.
- Innovation & Research: Continuously explore new technologies, tools, and methodologies. Investigate emerging tech stacks and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and operationalize solutions for near real-time, high-volume streaming scenarios. Debug and resolve complex issues, including production incidents.
- Code-Level Development: Maintain hands-on development skills with the ability to work at the code level. Assist in debugging difficult-to-resolve problems and ensure system reliability.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Equivalent formal education or relevant work experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Information Technology or software engineering roles. An advanced degree may offset some of the experience requirements.
- Demonstrated experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Strong experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
- Proficiency in backend development using Java or Spring Boot framework.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration systems.
- Experience with frontend development using React or Angular, with the ability to implement creative design specifications.
- Strong understanding of database concepts with the ability to write complex SQL queries in MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience working in Agile environments with a track record of delivering user stories that meet acceptance criteria.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to research and explore new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a technical lead for a team or project, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Hands-on experience with high-volume streaming and real-time data processing systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps) is a plus.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for project management and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of supply chain management or logistics industry is beneficial but not required.
