Position Overview: Pharmacist Centralized Services (Remote)
As a Remote Pharmacist on our Centralized Services team, you will be responsible for executing patient intervention pharmacy programs and ensuring the highest standards of clinical pharmacy services. This role is ideal for pharmacists who are passionate about direct patient care, medication management, and driving positive health outcomes while working in a remote environment. You will leverage your clinical expertise to process prescriptions, conduct comprehensive medication reviews, and serve as a trusted resource for both patients and healthcare providers.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $27, with full-time employment benefits and the flexibility to work from a remote setting. Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacist in our Centralized Services division, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of clinical and operational activities that directly impact patient health and business performance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Direct Patient Care Programs: Implement and execute direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Therapy Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects. You will play an active role in improving patient outcomes through personalized medication management and therapeutic interventions.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing necessary changes. Ensure that all pharmacy operations comply with regulatory requirements, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines.
- Financial Performance: Drive pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with company financial goals. Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy programs that maximize reimbursement while improving patient health outcomes, contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy operations.
- Patient Experience Enhancement: Support efforts to improve patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services, including patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and retail, clinical, or wellness services such as vaccinations, illness state management, and Specialty programs.
- Team Leadership and Support: Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership. Support staff training experiences and development opportunities while promoting collaboration and inspiring pharmacy staff through a shared vision aligned with company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Clinical Review and Accuracy: Conduct data and clinical reviews and take appropriate actions to ensure accuracy and propriety of medications. Review drug histories and patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe medication therapy, providing individualized patient/provider consultation.
- Patient Relationship Building: Through superior interpersonal skills, win the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy issues. Build lasting relationships that enhance patient loyalty and satisfaction.
- Program Evaluation: Provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of client retention programs, incorporating comments from patients as the value of individual consultations. Use this feedback to continuously improve our service offerings.
- Clinical Consultation: Serve as the primary resource for all questions, discussions, and advice relating directly to patient treatment. Provide clinical advice and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as needed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. Maintain current knowledge of the pharmacy industry and required licensure.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in pharmaceutical care:
- Pharmacy License: Current Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority. You must be eligible to practice pharmacy in the state where you will be located.
- Educational Background: Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Leadership Experience: Experience inspiring colleagues to research and resolve issues effectively. Demonstrated ability to lead by example and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Confidentiality Skills: Experience working with sensitive and confidential information, demonstrating sound judgment and adherence to privacy standards.

- Self-Directed Learning: Experience developing approaches to achieving goals with minimal supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and knowing when to escalate issues appropriately.
- Customer Service Excellence: Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction.
- Travel Availability: Able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes, within state and out of state, as needed for training, meetings, and special projects.
Preferred Qualifications

- Willingness to acquire additional state pharmacy licenses if required, demonstrating flexibility to serve patients across multiple regions.
- Knowledge of insurance plans and billing procedures, understanding the complexities of pharmacy reimbursement and patient coverage.
- Proficiency with PC operating systems including RAD, COM, and Plus platforms commonly used in pharmacy operations.
- Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including opening workbooks, inserting rows, selecting fonts and sizes, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming worksheets, inserting columns, selecting chart styles, inserting worksheets, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check, and printing worksheets.
- Basic level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including embedding, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding bullet points, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting tables or notes, moving objects, printing frame view, and running slide shows.
- Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Word, including opening documents, cutting, pasting, and adjusting text, selecting font types and sizes, changing margins and column width, formatting, inserting shots, images, and dates, using find and replace, repair, spell check, track changes, reviewing sheets, and print functions.
